Hard work to these Northern Ontario Boys comes as natural as the playful ribbing and genuine friendship they project when put in a room together. Coming from Thunder Bay, Ontario they have been doing the long miles and hard grind to give fans a taste of their gritty, emotionally driven indie rock sound while trying to navigate an industry tough to crack. Following their debut album Liar’s Club (2015) their latest release Grief Rights showcases a maturity in their creative process as well as sense of discovery of who they are becoming as individuals. Yet despite the seriousness of their lyrics brother Ryan and Nic and bandmates Jay, Kevin and Jimmy know how to give their audiences a heart pumping, sweaty live show and have a good time while doing it.
Beers With Bands caught up with the guys during Juno Fest in London, Ontario at Anderson Craft Ales and while enjoying a few pints learned how they survive long van rides and what pop band may have inspired their sound.
Make sure you follow the band on all their social media channels to stay up to date on new music and live shows near you.
A huge thank you to Emma and the Anderson Craft Ales staff for letting us use their taproom and supplying all our beer needs. Ashley and the band enjoyed the Hazy IPA and pomegranate sour.
