Dear Rouge’s debut EP titled “Heads Up! Watch Out!” could easily define what the next 7 years would look like for the Vancouver, BC based band. Danielle and Drew McTaggart formed the Electronic Rock band in 2012 that has been luring in audiences with Danielle’s powerful, velvety voice and a live performace that will leave you in awe.
Over the last several years Dear Rouge have accumulated various awards such as a SOCAN Songwriting Prize for “I Heard I Had” in 2015, “Breakthough Group Of The Year” at the 2016 Juno Awards as well as Pop Artist of the Year & Songwriter(s) of the Year at the 2018 Western Canadian Music Awards. Touring from coast to coast has seen Dear Rouge play huge festivals including Wayhome, Osheaga, Skookum and Riverfest and perform alongside Lights, Modern Space, Fast Romantics and Arkells.
Currently working on their third LP, Dear Rouge are digging deep and going back to where they were with creating their first album and using the depth and experience of what they’ve been through to bring new music to the table.
